i was born in switzerland. when i was 17 i went to lincoln, nebraska as an exchange student for a year.

i went on to study photography at the fashion institute of technology in new york city, and then studied studio art at hunter college, which is in new york city as well.

since then i have worked as a photo researcher at scholastic and on photography assignments for various publishers and magazines.

i have just finished the sky series, which consists of 49 photographs of 11x14 inch color prints and am now working on finding a gallery for it.

i have almost completed shooting the plane series of which you can see 3 examples on this site.

when i'm not working at my dayjob or on my photography i like to hang out with my husband and our cat, doggie.

i also like sewing my own clothes, listening to music (especially blur), reading and wasting my time in front of the tv.
